Sameha Alshakhsi is a PhD student at the College of Science and Engineering, Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Doha, Qatar. Sameha completed her bachelor’s degree (Software Engineering) and MSc by Research (Wireless Communication) in Information & Communication Technology from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia.
Her research interests also include internet addiction and how software and systems design can contribute to it. She also investigates new techniques to help reduce the internet overuse and enhance digital wellbeing.
